Herb of the Week | Nettle

Historically recognized as one of the great cleansing herbs and has been widely used for the treatment of rheumatism, gout, kidney stones and chronic skin diseases, especially eczema. Traditional Chinese Medicine: Nettle leaves have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years to treat conditions such as anemia, arthritis, and hay fever.  Native Indigenous Americans used Nettle for a variety of purposes, including to make a tea to treat arthritis, and as a food source. Raspberry leaf, Oatstraw and Alfalfa as a pregnancy tonic to avoid anemia and support healthy growth.

Modern research supports Nettle's powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant properties. It is an excellent herb for those that need help lowering pressure. Nettle reduces prostate size and treats symptoms of enlarged prostate gland in men with BPH. Nettle is rich in vitamins and carries some diuretic effects. Nettles has long been used to boost and enrich milk supply in both humans and animals.

As a practical magical tool, mix nettle and agrimony to uncrossing spiritual baths to dissolve crossed conditions
