Magical Folk Uses: Protection, domination, afflict an enemy, used to ''break-up'' spells, draw in a new lover, hexing.
Medicinal Folk Uses: Traditionally used to treat urinary problems, cough, bladder swelling (inflammation), fever, high blood pressure, or kidney stones. It is considered a diuretic--along with other diuretic herbs it can be a supportive remedy for cases of arthritis, rheumatism and gout.
To Prepare as a Tea: Add 30g to a half gallon of boiling water. Turn heat on low and let simmer for one 1-2 hours. The longer the better. Strain and enjoy! Store the rest in the refrigerator. Tea solution can be applied topically to achy joints or sore muscles.
