Anamu (Guinea Hen Weed)

Magical Folk Uses: cleanses away negativity, breaks hexes and curses, protects against malevolent entities.
Medicinal Folk Uses: Traditionally, used to treat, rheumatism, cancer, nervous spasms, paralysis, hysteria, asthma, whooping cough, colds, influenza, pneumonia, bronchitis, fevers, headaches, cystitis, venereal diseases, menstrual complaints and colic, by using the plant internally. The herb also induces abortion.
Tea is made by steeping 2–3 teaspoons (10–15 grams) in 1 cup (250 ml) of hot water for ten to fifteen minutes.
