Folk Name: “Queen of the Flowers”
Magical Folk Uses: Traditionally used as an aphrodisiac and libido enhancer; helps to dissolve emotional barriers and promote feelings of intimacy. Money drawing; love drawing; invokes prophetic dreams.
Medicinal Folk Uses: Traditionally used to aide digestion digestive and intestinal problems including liver and gallbladder conditions, intestinal pain, intestinal gas, colic, and loss of appetite. It also functions to promote the growth of good bacteria in the gut and has been found to eliminate harmful bacteria and AMA toxins from the body. Jasmine flowers is known to improve cognitive function; promotes memory capacity, focus, concentration, calmness, alertness of an individual.
Tea is made by steeping 2–3 teaspoons (10–15 grams) of the herb in 1 cup (250 ml) of hot water for ten to fifteen minutes.
