Magical Folk Uses: This plant is mainly used in protection, hex-breaking and road opening spells. Epazote helps us digest the obstacles in life and removes spiritual parasites. It makes a wonderful tool for getting rid of residual negativity.
Medicinal Folk Uses: Traditionally used to treat helminthic infestation (parasite infection) parasitic worms in the body. Also used to treat stomach and intestinal ailments like indigestion, cramps, and ulcers. Epazote has also been used for nervous disorders, asthma and menstruation regulation
Preparation Suggestion: Tea is made by steeping 2–3 teaspoons (10–15 grams) of the herb in 1 cup (250 ml) of hot water for ten to fifteen minutes. People can drink three or more cups per day.
