Folk Name: “Kablin
Magical Folk Uses: Money drawing and prosperity; fertility; love drawing; promotes lust. Deity Krishna is said to "inhabit" Patchouli.
Medicinal Folk Uses: Traditionally used as antidote for venomous snakebites. The scent of patchouli is used as an antidepressant and stimulant. Patchouli was also used to treat headaches, colds, nausea, diarrhea, skin infections, dandruff and gastrointestinal ailments. Patchouli is believed to work as an aphrodisiac, as it prompts the production sex hormones; helping to dispel sexual anxiety and a sluggish libido.
Tea is made by steeping 2–3 teaspoons (10–15 grams) in 1 cup (250 ml) of hot water for ten to fifteen minutes.
