Medicinal Folk Uses: Traditionally used to treat a broad spectrum of digestive disorders, where a mildly sedative and anti-cramping remedy is required. Such conditions include; colitis, travel sickness, excess gas, colic, nausea, vomiting and poor appetite. Peppermint also has a traditional use in fever treatments where its cooling effects can be very soothing in the ‘hot’ stage of a fever. Due to its menthol content, Peppermint alleviates itchy skin; known to ease headaches.
To prepare as an herbal shot, add 1 teaspoons of our Organic Peppermint Leaf Powder to 4oz of boiling water. Mix well. Cover and steep for 3-5 minutes.
Mixing Suggestions: Mix 1-2 Tps with your favorite juice, add to your favorite smoothie
